- Popup with real paid orders: product photo, product name, location and "2 hours ago".
- Orders from the last 7 days.
- Position bottom-left or bottom-right. Option to hide on mobile.
- Name display: no name (default), half name (Ai***) or first name.
- Location detail: city (default), state, or none.
- Checkout box "Show my purchase in the store's recent sales popup", on the classic checkout and on the Block checkout. You choose if it starts ticked (opt-out) or unticked (opt-in, for shops selling to Europe).
- A first-run question: "Do you sell to customers in Europe?" sets that default for you.
- The visitor never sees their own order.

安装:
- Upload the
salepopfolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install the zip from Plugins > Add New. - Activate Sales Popup. WooCommerce must be active.
- Go to WooCommerce > Sales Popup. Answer the first question: do you sell to customers in Europe?
- Check the Privacy tab and decide how much of the buyer to show.

Why only real orders?
A popup with invented sales is a false claim to your customers, and in many countries it breaks consumer law. Sales Popup only shows paid orders from your own shop, so every popup is true.
What is shown, and what is never shown?
Shown: a first name only if you choose it (or "Someone", or half a name), the billing city or state, the product name, photo and link, and how long ago. Never shown: surname, address lines, postcode, phone, email, price or quantity.
What is the checkout box?
At checkout the buyer sees "Show my purchase in the store's recent sales popup". If the buyer unticks it, that order is never shown. In the settings you choose whether the box starts ticked or unticked. On the Block checkout the buyer's choice also appears in the order details and in the emails.
I had orders before I installed Sales Popup. Are they shown?
Yes, if they are inside the time window and paid. Those orders have no saved checkbox choice, so they are shown by your name and location settings. Sales Popup shows popups as soon as it is activated. If you sell to Europe, set Name to Hidden and answer the first question before you leave the settings open to visitors.
Do I need to mention the popup in my privacy policy?
We recommend it. Add a sentence saying that the shop shows recent purchases (product, town and time) in a popup, and that buyers can opt out at checkout.
Does it work with page caching?
Yes. The popup list is loaded after the page, in one small request that is cached on the server for 10 minutes. A saved copy of your page still shows current orders.
What if there are no recent orders?
Nothing is shown.
Does the buyer see their own order?
No. A logged-in customer does not see their own orders, and a visitor does not see the order they just placed in the same browser.
