Does this store any personal data?
Not on your server. A visitor's Yes/No response is remembered only via one first-party cookie in their own browser, named wpsp_age_confirmation_screen_confirmed_ followed by a short code. It holds the value 1, is set only after the visitor clicks Yes, and lasts the number of days you choose (1 to 365). Nothing is sent to your site or any third party, and the plugin makes no external requests.
Does this verify a visitor's real age?
No. It asks the visitor to confirm their age with a Yes/No click and takes their word for it. It does not check identity or documents, and it does not by itself make a site compliant with any age-restriction law.
Is this plugin Multisite compatible?
No, WPSP Age Confirmation Screen is designed for single-site use only.
Where can I get support?
Ask on the WordPress.org support forum — the Support tab in the plugin's own settings links there too. WPSP Age Confirmation Screen Pro customers get priority support instead of the forum queue.

- Improved: the plugin description, readme and settings now say clearly that this is a self-declared age confirmation, not identity or age verification.
- Improved: the colour settings are checked again when the page is drawn.
- Fixed: the age gate now shows even when a script loads late, and returning visitors no longer see it flash.
- Fixed: changing the minimum age asks returning visitors again.
- Improved: keyboard focus stays inside the dialog, and it works better on small screens.
- Fixed: a "No" redirect that points to your own site is replaced, because it would show the gate again.
