Installing LWS Optimize is quick and easy with three installation methods available:
Method 1: Install Directly from WordPress Dashboard (Recommended)
- In WordPress admin, navigate to "Plugins" → "Add New"
- Search for "LWS Optimize"
- Click "Install Now"
- After installation completes, click "Activate"
- Visit the new LWS Optimize settings page to configure optimization options
Method 2: Upload via WordPress Dashboard
- Download the latest version
- In WordPress admin, go to "Plugins" → "Add New"
- Click "Upload Plugin" at the top
- Choose the downloaded zip file and click "Install Now"
- After installation completes, click "Activate"
- Configure settings through the LWS Optimize menu
Method 3: Manual FTP Installation
- Download the latest version
- Unzip the downloaded file on your computer
- Using FTP software, upload the entire "lws-optimize" folder to your website's "/wp-content/plugins/" directory
- In WordPress admin, navigate to "Plugins" and click "Activate" under LWS Optimize
- Configure optimization settings through the new menu item
After activation, we recommend starting with the pre-configured optimization profile that best matches your needs. For most sites, the "Balanced" profile offers excellent performance improvements with minimal risk of conflicts.
